What is happening in Upper Post 16

In Upper Post 16, we see ourselves like a sixth form college. We try to be as independent as possible. We serve our lunch ourselves and eat in our classroom. We share making the drinks and doing the washing up.

We have just started our new Diploma work on ties. We do this with the Lower Post 16 class every Monday and Tuesday.

Some of us prefer to wear fluffy scarves then ties!

As a class we all visit different types of colleges including the local ones. At the moment we are working at Filton College on our Diploma work.

Student of the Week Award

Each week one student is awarded a Student of the week certificate. This is derived from the number of credits they have gained for a variety of reasons e.g. working well and independently, being helpful, accomplishing certain targets etc. The students are very proud of these awards and we would like you to encourage you to praise your children and join us in celebrating their success.

Social Events
We try to go out for the occasional lunch as a whole class
In Post 16 we have a prom at the end of the year. Sometimes we get a ride in a limo!
