As part of our broad and balanced curriculum, science enables pupils to develop an awareness of their environment and their place within it. This awareness is extended as far as the pupil is able, from being aware of themselves and their immediate environment through to an appreciation of science in the natural and man made world.
The range of experiences and achievements will contribute to the enrichment of our pupils? lives, according to individual needs, abilities and aptitudes.

Pupils will develop understanding and knowledge of scientific ideas, processes and skills, through exploration of the environment, living things, materials, objects and events, and will relate these to everyday experiences. In this area of the curriculum pupils will explore values and attitudes in science. They will learn about ways of thinking and of finding out about and communicating their ideas.
The science curriculum is focussed around four different areas:-
Scientific Enquiry
Life processes and living things
Materials and their properties and
Physical Processes
