Music
Music
plays an important role in the life of the school.
Pupils
enjoy singing a wide range of songs in every assembly and listen to different
musical types. There is a choir made of secondary students who support this,
and they also sing at church events at Harvest, Christmas and Easter. A
highlight of any term is the regular end of term disco, which all pupils are
invited to attend, and sing and dance along to. As well as this, pupils have
music lessons where they learn about the different elements of music through
the scheme of work. Staff use songs, rhymes and instruments to support cross
curricular learning.
