Foundation 1

In Foundation one, we are learning through play.

Our Jungle area helps us find out about Africa … take a walk through our jungle…. Watch out for the snakes!

It’s fun learning maths in the shoe shop, we match pairs of shoes and count in two’s.

In science we are learning about our bodies and have a hospital area, where we can dress up and pretend to make each other better. 

In our PSE, we are learning about personal hygiene, germs and our body parts. We get to sing lots of nursery rhymes about our body and we had a baby come to visit us to see what we were like when we were small.  

We have also learnt that we need to brush our teeth for 5 minutes and how to wash our hands properly.
