Welcome to our calm bay! It was designed and painted by "A" level students from Castle School and we love it !

It can be used by any pupil who needs a little time to calm and relax, or if things get a little too much.  We keep the sessions short, five minutes usually does the trick. because it's good to get back to learning ! If anyone needs to use it regularly we write a little programme and discuss it with parents. Pupils using the calm bay are discretely supervised by a member of staff

It has really helped with the atmosphere of calm acoss the school, and everyone benefits.

We also use it for sensory lessons and drama activities for example "The 0ctopuses Garden " by the Beatles
