Today was our annual day out,thanks to the Rotary Club.This year we went to Bristol Zoo.We were all very excited and hoped the rain would stay away.
We all had a turn in the education centre, where we learn't lots of interesting facts. 

Did you know that a rhino's horn is made of hair?

We looked at some animals on the screen and heard the sounds they make. We got to hold an elephants tusk and feel some animal fur. We also got to meet some animals up close and could stroke or even hold them.

Some of us were not so sure!

We saw animals of all shapes and sizes

Even some very strange looking ones!

There were several displays where we could compare ourselves to the animals.

The rain stayed away so we could picnic in the sun.
